naturally cleared by a storm some years ago. The clearing is accessed via the plantation and  is a  beautiful sheltered area of around an acre, nestled on the edge of the ancient woodland. there are six camping pitches suitable for both tents and small camper vans. each pitch benefits from a pick nick bench and a fire pit and you can hire a bbq tripod or frontier stove if you prefer. wood is available to buy on site.

the clearing is also available for exclusive  group camping with friends and family  or for a  private retreat.
