naturally cleared by a storm some years ago. The clearing is accessed via a shared access through The plantation and  is a  beautiful sheltered area a little over half an acre, nestled on the edge of the ancient woodland. There are six camping pitches suitable for both tents and small camper vans. each pitch benefits from a pick nick bench and a fire pit and you can hire a bbq tripod or frontier stove if you prefer. wood is available to buy on site.

the clearing is also available for exclusive  group camping with friends and family  or for a  private retreat.
